When was the last time you...
1. ...sent a handwritten letter?The last one I sent was probably the letter I sent Spectre when I sent him the chain. I can't remember writing another one. If you want to get technical, I slipped a note in with K's parcel.
2. ...baked something from scratch or made something by hand?
Due to the fact that we have an oven that doesn't work, I haven't been able to do much at all. Though I would love to cook up a big batch of my death by chocolate cookies. They are SO nice.
3. ...camped in a tent?
Officially, in a tent? Not since I was about five. I generally sleep in cars now when we go somewhere there's no motel/hotel available. I have this thing about creepy-crawlies and snakes. Plus, it's just warmer. *L*
4. ...volunteered your time to church, school, or community?
Never have. Never will. Why put in something that's never going to be reciprocated?
5. ...helped a stranger?
Last week I gave a guy who plays the violin at my station $20. I asked him if he'd go away if I gave him twenty dollars. He asked me why. I told him his playing is AWFUL. He murders "Toss the Feathers" and "Danny Boy"... and that's just plain offensive to me. He thought I was kidding, but then I held out the money. He left five minutes later. Okay, I know, not the nicest thing to do, but hey, he probably ate a good dinner that night, and I didn't go home with a headache. I think it's a good trade-off.
