Did we all watch the soccer like good little boys and girls? Did we?

Did our favourite team win? Yes, they did, didn't they.

Come on, who seriously had money on Germany winning, eh? FOOLS!

Oliver Kahn was wonderful though. He did good. Brazil was just a wee bit better... hehehe.

Yes, I was one of the herd in front of my TV, shouting and screaming and blowing whistles...

Okay, no, I wasn't that bad, but I did think it was a great game. You knew that Brazil had them beat when they scored that 2nd goal.

Fun stuff.

I forgot to mention that my lovely, adorable, and GENEROUS sister bought me a tailored jacket that goes with a shirt and pair of pants that I bought on Saturday. I was going to walk out of 1626 without it but she put up a fuss. "But it looked soooooo nice on you! You should get it." I gave her a sad look and told her I couldn't afford it this month - which was indeed sad because it was a stocktake sale and the range wouldn't be there in a months time when I could afford to splurge again. Erica turned around and bought it then and there for me. $79.00 jacket right there. Wow.

Sometimes I love her. *L* That was one of those moments.

Now I'm back at work, doing my best to look busy again (and I kinda am this time), and ignore the phones (which I am anyway because of being kinda busy), go figure.

I'm feeling so spiffy in my new suit. I really do feel good. I look okay too. The cut suits me. And I'm wearing these nifty boot-leg cut pants - I hate tapered pants. Plus, tapered legs rarely fit me properly due to my odd proportions.

The girl at the store said everyone who has seen the pants have bought at least two pairs.

Wanna know why? I told her that big women like me HATE the tapered pants. They only make you look bigger. Straight legs or boot legs give the illusion of length, we need length, not extra shape. Length + big people = good. The longer and straighter it is, the better it looks and sits. I really don't understand why designers don't see this. Bold colours and big ugly flowers are not what big people need to wear. They need long-lined skirts and pants, pin-stripes, gently tailored shirts that fall to the top of the thighs with tunic style slits at the sides which compliment our look so well.

It's all about the lines for us fat people.

If the designers would do this, I'm sure that fat women would be SO happy with themselves. We can wear exactly what thin people can - only we need it... somewhat remodeled. Designers don't get it. Gah.

I know this. I could be a dress consultant. I've spent years analysing what looks good and crappy on me and why. Man, I should work for Posties as a consultant.
